How would you approach an upset guest, and what would you do to make it right?

If you have no experience working with customers, then it may be a bit tougher to figure out an answer, especially one that you think the interviewer is looking for.

It’s crucial to think about how you handle any conflict at all, whether that’s with guests, your family, friends, or a stranger on the street. Do you stay calm and collected? Or do you panic and start yelling?

Whatever the case may be, you should be honest with the interviewer. If you’re someone who gets anxious very easily and does not like dealing with conflict, then they need to know that. It doesn’t necessarily mean that you won’t get a job with Hilton, but they may be able to find a different position that suits your personality better.

How do you handle conflict with co-workers?

Our tips for answering this are similar to the question about dealing with an upset guest. If you’ve been working for a long time, then you know how to answer this question.
